Year 10 Students Get a Taste of University Life
Last week, Year 10 students recently had the opportunity to explore life beyond school with a visit to Anglia Ruskin University’s Chelmsford campus
The visit formed part of our ongoing commitment to raising aspirations and helping students make informed decisions about their futures.
Throughout the day, students took part in a range of activities designed to give them a deeper understanding of university life. A guided tour of the campus gave them insight into the facilities and environment that students experience daily. This was followed by engaging workshops and team-building activities that promoted key skills such as collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
The visit also aimed to give students a realistic picture of higher education by offering first-hand exposure to university routines, study pathways, and the variety of careers a degree can lead to. Whether or not university is part of their long-term plan, students left with a clearer idea of what further education involves and how to begin thinking about their own career journeys.
