The Basildon Upper Academy is committed to supporting our Young Carers and ensuring that they feel seen and supported in school.

Upper Academy students recently enjoyed a visit to Chatham Snowsports Centre.

Year 12 and Year 13 Creative Arts students recently had the opportunity to take part in art workshops at The Old Waterworks, Southend.

During this year’s National Careers Week, Upper Academy students participated in a series of activities aimed at raising awareness of the wide range of career and education pathways options available to them.

On Wednesday 22nd February, the Upper Academy welcomed guests from the food rescue charity UKHarvest and, UK Power Networks with a new environmental project aimed at reducing food waste.
