Year 12 students were recently visited by Sam from the JET Hairdressing Academy in Basildon, who delivered an inspiring and informative session on career pathways in the hairdressing industry.

The session supported students currently studying the Hairdressing VTCT NVQ Diploma qualification, offering valuable insight into what comes next after their course. Sam shared her knowledge about the wide range of opportunities in the hair and beauty industry — including progressing to higher-level qualifications and taking part in professional competitions.

Students left the session feeling more informed and enthusiastic about future possibilities within the sector, with many expressing how useful and engaging the experience was.
