Health and Wellbeing Drop Down Day

On Friday 10th July, Year 10 and Year 12 students took part in the Upper Academy's first-ever Health and Wellbeing Drop Down Day, giving them the opportunity to focus on their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing through a range of engaging activities.

Students were able to personalise their day by selecting four sessions that best suited their interests and wellbeing needs. The varied programme encouraged students to develop practical life skills, learn new ways to support their wellbeing and enjoy time with their peers.

The sessions on offer included CPR training, Daily Mile Walk and Talk, Mindfulness Colouring, Team Building Games, Cold Case Discussions, Sleep and Dreams workshops, alongside many other interactive activities designed to promote healthy lifestyles, resilience and positive wellbeing.
