Students Put Their Teamwork Skills to the Test

During the last week of the school year, our Year 10 students took part in the Upper Academy's very first Team Building Day, enjoying an action-packed day of problem-solving, communication and collaboration.
Delivered by The Problem Solving Company, the event saw students working in teams to complete more than 30 exciting challenges, each designed to develop valuable transferable skills that will benefit them both in school and beyond.
Throughout the day, students tackled a variety of practical and mental tasks that encouraged them to think creatively, communicate effectively and work together under pressure. Every activity required teamwork, resilience and determination, with students supporting one another to overcome each new challenge.
As teams successfully completed activities, they earned points, creating a friendly but highly competitive atmosphere as everyone worked hard to climb the leaderboard. The competition kept energy levels high throughout the day, with students demonstrating excellent enthusiasm, perseverance and team spirit.
The Team Building Day was a fantastic opportunity for students to step outside the classroom, strengthen relationships with their peers and develop important life skills in a fun and engaging environment. It was a brilliant way to round off the school year and highlighted the importance of communication, leadership and teamwork in achieving success.
