Co-created by students from the Upper Academy and Northlands Primary School for a project led by K&B Designs and Creative Basildon, a vibrant new community mural has now been unveiled in the heart of Pitsea.

Located at Northlands Pavement, the mural was developed from ideas gathered during the Pitsea Community Mural workshops held in October. Year 10 students from the Upper Academy and pupils from Northlands Primary each took part in dedicated sessions, sharing what Pitsea means to them through colours, themes, words, and imagery.

These combined contributions have been brought to life in a striking and colourful public artwork that celebrates the spirit of Pitsea and amplifies the voices of its young people.

We are proud that our students were part of this collaborative community project, helping to create a mural that will be enjoyed for years to come.
